Created for powerful, structured red wines, the RIEDEL Performance Cabernet Glass is designed to reveal balance and depth in full-bodied wines with pronounced tannins.
Its generously sized bowl allows aromas to unfold fully while softening the perception of tannin. By emphasising ripe fruit character and moderating bitter notes, the glass helps wines achieve harmony and elegance. Re-developed in 2018, this refined shape further enhances aromatic expression and overall balance.
Part of the Performance series, the glass features a light optic impact within the bowl. This optic structure increases the wine’s surface area, intensifying aromatics while adding a distinctive visual element. Crafted from clear crystal glass, it combines technical performance with modern design.
Co-designed by Georg and Maximilian Riedel, RIEDEL Performance is the first wine glass collection to integrate optic-impact technology into varietal-specific shapes. These glasses are premium machine-made, ensuring exceptional precision, consistency, and balance, and are dishwasher safe for everyday use. Supplied as a set of two.
