Designed to reveal the full complexity of sparkling wines, the RIEDEL Performance Champagne Glass enhances both aroma and effervescence. Unlike traditional flutes, its egg-shaped bowl allows Champagne’s layered aromatics to develop, expand, and intensify before being released through a wider rim.
A discreet sparkling point at the base of the bowl supports consistent bubble formation, preserving lively effervescence throughout the pour. Re-developed in 2018 as part of the Performance series, this glass reflects RIEDEL’s continued refinement of grape-varietal and style-specific design.
Ideal for light, fresh, dry Champagnes, as well as Proseccos and other sparkling wines, the glass is crafted from clear crystal glass with a light optic impact in the bowl. This optic structure increases the internal surface area, enhancing aromatic expression while adding subtle visual texture.
Co-designed by Georg and Maximilian Riedel, RIEDEL Performance is the first wine glass collection to feature optic-impact technology. These glasses are premium machine-made, delivering exceptional precision, balance, and consistency, and are dishwasher safe for everyday ease. Supplied as a set of two.
